As you may be aware, state elections for the state legislature are coming up. District 61 covers Fulton County, East Point, and the city of College Park. With the recent events brought about in part, because of the recent tornado, we now see the importance of government working for its communities. Education is the first step on the ladder of success in community involvement, and ultimately empowerment. Because we share the same concerns of continuning quality education and good government, this is a chance to bring about a new vision to the state legislature. I would like for you to be a part of making a differnece in our community and ultimately in the lives of all of Georgians. Your investment ensurses that Georgian's get a voice in the state legislature. I aware that we are living in hard times.
However, we can not afford to ignore things that need fixing in our community and our state. I come to you asking for your support financially. With the growing expense of ruunning for public office, the demand for financial support is often overwhelming. For this reason, I respectfully request your support in helping me reach my campaign goal. Your investment in me is an investment in our state.
The statute allows a maximum contribution of 2,000 for 2008 election and run-off, if needed. The partisan election will be held on July 15, 2008.
